SPT is an one year old new born family welfare trust and the date of commencement was 2nd November, 2024. Surprisingly by this short time of operation, SPT has conducted several field surveys at various districts and villages levels of West Bengal. Primarily, the SPT includes the following districts to continue their activities for the next 5 years are as follows:

Accordingly, SPT has already prepared the 5 years master plan. Here are some broad heads of the proposed activities/ projects, which the organization will be continued or completed by 2029.
Project – I (Enlightment)
Ia) Solar Lantern
SPT is going to launch its ENLIGHTMENT program for the poor rural women, by gifting them a Solar Lantern each. According to our opinion survey among the rural women, we found that the fear-psychosis grabs most of them during the evening and night times, because of the non-availability of street lights in most areas, and the women have compiled to move on various purposes. On the other hand, a high power torch consumes batteries which incur a recurring cost per month. A solar Lantern can help them in the dusks and that will cost free. Thus SPT has decided to Gift them a Solar Lantern each, especially in the non-electrified rural areas. We request all council members of SPT and non-members to contribute / donate 2-10 Solar Lanterns to us or directly to the beneficiaries. SPT has planned to donate 40-60 Solar Lanterns on every month. Our first program will be held at Sundarban from 22-24 November, 2024. We are expecting your generous support contribution and participation in it.
Ib) Single Woman Residency
This is worth mentioning that the rapid changing global scenario in terms of divorce, separation and non-marriage raise a big question towards the safety and security of the single women! In India, the problem becomes worsen during the last two decades! Most of those women do not have any option but to live in their maternal houses with lot of difficulties or maladjustments with other family members. On the other hand, they cannot live alone, considering their safety and security. The society as well as the governments is still so reluctant on such a crucial issue! SPT sincerely believes that, it should come up to the priority sector to our national policy, without further delay! It somehow leads to obsession and compromise to majority of the suffer women! Observing the ground reality, SPT has taken up this issue and planned to develop a Single Women Residency in Kolkata or its adjoining areas, with full of theirs safety, security and liberty. So that they can get rid of such inexplicable problems and enjoy the freedom of life. This is not only essential, but indispensible in present day context. Interested council member/s may contact us to promote this as a joint-venture or under PPP model. The trust is intended to complete this work by 2029.
Project – II (Empowerment)
(IIa) Business Entrepreneurship Support and Skill Development
SPT has launched a separate division to provide end-to-end support to the women entrepreneurs for launching their own business, online. It depicts in several surveys that more than 80% of Indian women have spoil their lives in thankless domestic works and stay far from their personal income. Thus they get ignored, insulted within the family even and face different kind of mental tortures and domestic violence in many cases! SPT realizes the problem from the ground level and intended to support them for their own business startups and a sustain income generation. This division includes both the online and offline business startups as per their core-efficiencies. This division also offers skill development programs on various business wings, like Food, Garment, Cosmetics, Herbal, Beauty, Handicraft, along with the Chicken, Duck, Turkey, Goat, Cattle and Fish farming. Organic crop production, Mass room cultivation, Horticulture and Floriculture could be the good add-ons to it, especially in the rural belt. (IIa) Global Platform for Online Sales & Services
Considering the job scenario of the country as well as the state, there is no way but to go for entrepreneurship for the youth. On the other hand, marketing and sales of any product or services is not an easy task for the beginners, until and unless they get genuine guidance and support from any appropriate authority. Unfortunately, many entrepreneurs become frustrated or entrapped by borrowings due to their inexperience! SPT will stand for them, i.e. the new entrepreneurs. We are very much after it and our work has already been initiated to launch a fully AI based marketing as well as sales platform, which will run by our expert team so that get rid of this problem. This platform will allow all the entrepreneurs to sell their product or services globally, under the strong monitoring and supervision of SPT. Interested council member/s and entrepreneurs may contact us to promote this under the PPP model. SPT is intended to complete this work by 2025.
Project – III (Employment)
Empowerment or business entrepreneurship apart, SPT has also undertaken serious steps in women employment too. We are generating the scope of job for them both in urban and rural areas. Our mission is to engage more women in job and to provide them a safer workplace where they can devote their 100% without any fear-psychosis of assaults! SPT employment will be conducted irrespective to their age and background. The organization is opening various platforms for engaging women who are coming with different skills or efficiencies as well. Initially, the trust has planned to generate employment within its own capacity and tie-up with other organizations and corporate houses, throughout the state of West Bengal. In the startup environment, SPT in-house recruitment openings are for the posts as follows:

Project – IV (Environment)
IVa) Scientific Aforestation
This is worthwhile to mention you that the World has suffered and is being suffering a huge loss and damage in terms of environmental degradation and ecological disasters! Now it becomes a globally accepted opinion that the ecology has caught us by throat!! For an example, only the Indian Sundarbans have already lost some around 5000 sq.km. of mangrove forests (out of 9500 sq.km.), since 1659 or 1775 and that reclamation process was continued till 1972 (almost 300 years). The remaining part is of around 4500 sq.km. This is severe threat to the Kolkata city also, as the mangrove buffer is protecting and providing us from different parameters, e.g. Cyclone, soil erosion, CO2 absorption, O2 production, ground water retention, sea food supply, biodiversity maintenance and so on. Considering the above factors, the SPT takes serious intervention to restore the Sundarban by scientific and pragmatic forestation as well. We request all council members of SPT to participate and contribute in this restoration battle, which is an important responsibility to us, for our progenies.
IVb) Promotion of Eco-Tourism
SPT has planned to develope an Eco-Tourism Hub in Sundarban within the 5 years plan of the trust. However, the trust has already initiated Eco-Tourism programs to build a strong mass awareness on conservation, so that the people will understand the ecological importance and conservation significance of all the floral and faunal species on earth. In the mission, SPT has selected six potential biodiversity hotspots of Bengal, i.e. Sundarbans, Purulia, Bankura, Darjeeling, Jalpaiguri and Aliporeduar as well. SPT will conduct eco-tour programs on every month; so that a maximum number of members and non-members can be accommodated.
